The Raffle will be drawn on Sunday October 5, 2008. This raffle is for a 2008 Ford Mustang Stage 3 BlackJack #40 of 100 as described in the
car specs page or the cash prize of $40,000US.
This raffle is void where prohibited by law. It is open to all persons of legal driving age. Proceeds from the raffle will benefit the Sacred Heart Parish of Erie, Pennsylvania.
Prize: This raffle has a single prize of 2008 Ford Mustang Stage 3 BlackJack or a cash prize of Forty-Thousand Dollars (US).
Odds of Winning: Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. Odds increase by purchasing additional tickets
How To Be Eligible: You are eligible to win this raffle by buying a ticket either on line, buying a ticket at a scheduled event or directly from the church. You must be of legal driving age at the time of the drawing. You must have a working knowledge of the spoken and written English language. You do not have to be present to win. Persons may enter as often as they like by buying additional tickets.
Drawing: The winner of the raffle will be selected in a random drawing on October 5, 2008 at the Parish Days Celebration. Persons will be notified by phone or mail. Every reasonable attempt will be made to contact the winner. If the parish is unable to contact the winner, the prize will be forfeited and a second drawing will take place at the earliest possible opportunity. See this web site for announcements. The winner may elect the cash prize of $40,000US instead of the vehicle within 3 days of notification.

Winner has three days after being notified to elect the cash prize
Winner has to claim their prize up to One Month after notification or by December5, 2008, which ever is earliest.
Additional Conditions: Winner's name and information will be retained by the parish for future announcements of other raffles. A picture of the winner is required for posting on the website. By accepting the prize, the winner accepts all rules on this page and must comply with all applicable international, federal, state and local laws. A written request from the winner is required if the winner does not want his picture or information posted. Prize may not be assigned or transferred. Winner will forfeit their prize if the parish is unable to contact them by November 5, 2008. Winner will forfeit their prize if it is not claimed within thirty days or by December 5, 2008 which ever is earliest.
Taxes: Winner does not have to pay Pennsylvania sales tax on the car prize, but does need to pay any other applicable taxes and fees. Taxes and fees include, but are not limited to registration, license and inspection if applicable. Other taxes may apply to cash prize.
Shipping and Transportation Fee and Expenses: Winner is responsible for all fees and transportation expenses for the prize. Prize is kept at the parish (816 West 26th Street, Erie, PA, 16508)
Winner Announcement: Winner will be notified by phone immediately after drawing or by certified mail within thirty days of the drawing. Winner will be announced on this web page the day following the drawing.
Applicable Laws: These rules are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, applicable federal, international and local laws.
